Privacy Policy

Igloo keeps Screen Time details on your device. It uses limited account, purchase, referral, and product-event data to provide Igloo Pro and improve the app.

Information Igloo uses

When you grant Screen Time access, Apple provides Igloo with privacy-preserving tokens representing the apps, categories, and websites you select. Igloo uses those tokens, your schedules, daily progress, and repair state to provide blocking and progress features.

Where information is stored

Igloo stores its settings and Screen Time selections locally on your device in an Apple App Group shared only by Igloo and its Screen Time extensions. The first and last name you enter for personalization also stay on your device. Igloo does not send your name, Screen Time selections, schedules, usage, or repair state to its feedback service or analytics.

Igloo Pro, referrals, and product events

Igloo creates a random anonymous account identifier with Supabase so it can issue an invite code, prevent duplicate referral rewards, and record a small set of product events such as onboarding completion, block activation, Pro screen views, purchases, restores, world selection, and challenge outcomes. Igloo does not send selected app identities, Screen Time totals, challenge usage minutes, or browsing data with these events.

Apple processes subscription payments. RevenueCat receives the anonymous account identifier, product and entitlement status, and purchase information needed to provide Igloo Pro, restore purchases, and grant a referral reward. Read the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Feedback you send

If you use the in-app feedback form, Igloo stores the feedback type, your written message, the screen where you opened the form, and basic app and device details such as the app version, build number, iOS version, and device model. You may also provide an email address if you want a reply. Providing feedback and an email address is optional.

Feedback is stored with Supabase and is used only to review problems, answer users, and improve Igloo. It is not used for advertising or tracking. The feedback service never receives your selected apps, websites, Screen Time usage, schedules, or protection state. You can read the Supabase Privacy Policy.

Tracking, advertising, and sale

Igloo does not track you across apps or websites, show third-party advertising, sell personal information, or use Screen Time information for marketing.

Apple services

Igloo relies on Apple's Family Controls, Managed Settings, Device Activity, notifications, and App Store services. Apple handles those services under its own privacy policy.

Your choices and deletion

You can change selected apps and schedules inside Igloo, disable Screen Time permission in iOS Settings, disable notifications, or delete Igloo. You can delete the anonymous referral profile and associated product events from Settings in the app. You may request deletion of feedback using the contact information below. If feedback was sent without contact information, Igloo may not be able to identify it.

Children

Igloo is a general productivity tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
